English St. Peter's Umbrella is a Slovak classic. In the silent film era, the subject attracted Alexander Korda, in the 1930s Géza von Cziffra, and in the 1950s it helped lead to the first collaboration between Slovak and Hungarian cinema. The main ideal couple are Karol Machata and the then great star of Hungarian film Mari Törőcsik. The episode features the debut of Emília Vášáryová and the recent Minister of Culture in Slovakia, Ľubo Roman. ()
