The following text translates from Czech to English: The Scream was a successful parody, thanks to clever references to recent murders and all the past years, as well as the spice of Dawson's Window. Although there are too many overcooked gags that bring the whole likable madness down to average, it's impossible to forget a few legendary scenes.

Sorry, but this is not for me. Yes, there were some brilliant moments and Anna Faris was very good in her role, but that is not enough to compensate for the barrage of jokes in the awkward and inept categories. I wasn't expecting an intelligent comedy, but if I were to compare Scary Movie to, say, Hot Shots, even three stars seems a bit much. For a laugh and relax, I can find dozens of better comedies. 50%
