Plots(1)

Wreck-It Ralph (voice of Reilly) longs to be as beloved as his game’s perfect Good Guy, Fix-It Felix (voice of McBrayer). Problem is, nobody loves a Bad Guy. But they do love heroes... so when a modern, first-person shooter game arrives featuring tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Lynch), Ralph sees it as his ticket to heroism and happiness. He sneaks into the game with a simple plan - win a medal - but soon wrecks everything, and accidently unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens every game in the arcade. Ralph’s only hope? Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Silverman), a young troublemaking “glitch” from a candy-coated cart racing game who might just be the one to teach Ralph what it means to be a Good Guy. But will he realize he is good enough to become a hero before it’s “Game Over” for the entire arcade? (official distributor synopsis)

English I did not know all the video games in this fairytale, but it was still a nostalgic memory in so many respects. Wreck-it Ralph is one of the most unique cartoons I’ve seen in a while. It is funny and the animations are great. I don’t know about kids, but I jumped with joy at every scene. ()

English Ralf is not for video games what Shrek was for fairytales or Galaxy Quest was for sci-fi series. Apart from an outstanding introduction and stylish closing credits, he doesn’t have that much in common with the 8 and 16 bit gaming culture. Which takes nothing away in terms of quality; even like this it’s a great, funny family animated movie which loses points only for its rather slow-moving middle part. Apart from Žilková’s midget-like kid’s voice, the dubbing was fine; someone did a really good job with the translation. P.S.: The pre-movie is better than the movie itself. ()

English A first-rate fairytale spiced up with a video game setting. It made me nostalgic for my video game days and I won't hesitate to watch it again. ()

English The 52nd Disney Feature Film I was quite worried about Wreck-It Ralph and how good it would be. But the people at Disney managed to combine the nostalgia for the childhood of today's thirty-somethings with the desires of today's children. Anyone who still remembers playing something decent in MS-DOS has nothing to worry about :) ()

English I would have liked to see the environments in which the film took place to be even more varied and the stay in the sugar world to be shorter. Otherwise, I am actually satisfied. A pleasant show for young and old with a number of really good scenes, which even moved me at one point, and with excellent animation and very stylish music. But you mustn't expect Wreck-It Ralph to be to video game fans what, for example, Who Framed Roger Rabbit is to cartoon fans. Unfortunately, that’s just not the case. ()

English Wreck-It Ralph has a really imaginative premise and is wrapped in appealing visuals that are certainly not lacking in imagination. The film features a large number of characters, each of which is different and has something to offer. As far as the script is concerned, this is not your typical slick fairy tale, as evidenced by the vocabulary of little Vanellope, for example. In short, it's a nice animated diversion for a free afternoon, which doesn't lack action, wit, or a few words of life wisdom - what more could you ask for. ()

English Except for the overly sappy ending, it was a perfect animated film and it made me remember what a great time I had at the arcades. A real treat! ()

English If you like negative characters in the main role, then the film "Wreck-It Ralph" is just for you, but definitely don't expect anything like the TV series "Dexter". You will love Ralph, even though he is a bit of a troublemaker and causes a lot of problems. He is very selfish. But the other characters make up for it a bit and together they create an interesting mix that forms great chemistry. Whether it's Vanellope, Felix, or Calhoun, they are all characters that can entertain you. In addition, the film is visually imaginative and also kitschy, just like kitschy but incredibly entertaining presented video games. "Wreck-It Ralph" was made by people who love video games. It shows in the film. The love for them truly shines through, which gives it another dimension, besides being a very successful counterpart to "Toy Story", but the film definitely does not plagiarize it. It has its own ideas (the cave of diet Coca Cola is just awesome) and will keep your attention the whole time. Great animation is a given. This is how a good animated film is made. With love. The audience will recognize it and show their positive feedback, which is definitely deserved here. ()

English One of the more successful cartoons that, apart from the original story and cool catchphrases, has "that something extra". Everything is presented in such a way that even children can understand it perfectly, while at the same time it manages to have universal appeal. The themes of social exclusion and the need to make or walk back difficult decisions are really nicely and tastefully presented. [80%] ()

English It’s a long time since I felt such good vibes as after watching Wreck-It-Ralph. As a big fan of computer games, I was absolutely captivated by this animated movie. Not only is it really original and funny, but there is also the mandatory moral of the story for families with children, namely that even a villain can have a heart and mean well. It could have been a bit better executed, but when I compare this work to other animated movies from 2012, it’s the brightest exception to an otherwise miserable year. It might even be the best animated movie in the last three years -> 5 stars. ()
