English Canadian Western? No, it really is. A smaller budget wouldn't necessarily be a problem. It is evident from the beginning that the creators had some idea here. Slow, calm, which is in harmony with the beautiful nature. I admit that personally I prefer Westerns where there is a bit more focus on characters, on outlaws and shooting, rather than opium hallucinations and slow, almost sleep-inducing camera movements. Unfortunately, the story is a weakness. Towards the end, the film tries to appear as a gritty Western, it succeeds in some places, but those Canadians just look weird there. ()
