English An Evening of Edgar Allan Poe is practically based from start to finish on Vincent Price’s voice, appearance and charisma, as he recites four selected tales written by the American master of horror. Price was simply born for the gothic horror genre, and I couldn’t imagine a better reciter for Poe’s work. ()

English The film An Evening of Edgar Allan Poe isn't about being a horror that scares you, but rather about showcasing the mastery of a great actor who can captivate you with his performance. Vincent Price is simply a legend, and I'm glad I came across this film because it proves that he is so strong that he can carry an entire hour all by himself, and you'll walk away with an interesting and unique experience. He must have been amazing in the theater. Too bad the film isn't longer. ()
