Typically, Joan of Arc and The Man in the Iron Mask briefly and factually take stock of their themes, bringing them to the audience who want to get to know them in an appealing way. For someone who studies certain details, a half-hour documentary certainly cannot be satisfactory. Regardless, it has no such ambitions anyway.
