Take to the skies with Earthflight as it soars with the true masters of the air on a breathtaking journey across six vast continents. On the wings of birds, it experiences the world’s greatest sights and natural spectacles as never before.

To create its bird’s-eye view of the world Earthflight uses a host of extraordinary filming techniques including filming “imprinted” flocks from microlites, wild flocks filmed from model gliders and silent drones, full-sized helicopter with stabilised mounts and cameras on the backs of trained birds. English As part of the previews and the AFO festival itself, I had the opportunity (twice) to watch an amazing documentary that offers unique and unprecedented footage of the lives of our planet's avian inhabitants. Who among us hasn't ever dreamed of flying or wanting to fly? Thanks to this film, you can almost make that dream come true in the cinema – and in 3D! Even though an edited version was screened at the festival, you still got a complete story. I liked that they incorporated other, non-bird animals into the plot like flying manta rays, a voracious whale, and a feasting bear family, giving the film a broader scope and level of knowledge of the animal kingdom.
