English I’ve got a feeling like I’ve seen this movie at a bad time. It’d have a completely different charm at Christmas. However, when I found out that it was about Christmas, I hoped that it would make my room feel a little colder. But I had no idea that this movie’s environment doesn’t celebrate Christmas in the snow, but in the worst scorcher instead. At that moment, I was able to relate to the atmosphere pretty well. Otherwise, it was a completely classic story; a guy used to believe in Christmas, now he doesn’t anymore and on top of all that, his life meets with one disaster next to another. But then fortune smiles at him and the turn of events returns his shaken faith back. I was able to spend these 83 unforced minutes cleaning as I was watching, so it sufficed. I’d probably turn it off otherwise. ()
