More drawn-out and annoying than the first episode. There’s too much singing, too many clichés, too few ideas... Plus, I didn’t expect the film to steal from Meet the Parents, but that doesn't mean it's a surprise. I mean this in a good way. Moreover, because of Jesse Eisenberg's voice, the film was only watchable for me in the Czech dubbing, thus making the main character somehow bearable. The animation is of course beautiful, the choreography of the "dance" scenes is again great and one new character is flawless (the anteater!). But that simply wasn't enough. (07/31/2014)

It is quite good to continue, but it's not a miracle. It took me a long time to get into the movie and start to like it - Several really good jokes and characters worked here and at least kept the film at an average level. I'm quite curious if there will be a third part of this eco animation. (10/04/2014)
