Bwakaw

Elderly Rene lives in a small Philippine village and he suffers from a fixed notion that his life is over and nothing good can be expected. He is getting ready for his own death meticulously: he is saving for a funeral, buys a coffin on sale, and he intentionally denies himself many things. Everything changes when his beloved dog, Bwakaw, gets cancer. Rene finds support in a young taxi driver, Sol, who helps him take is dog to the vet with his rickshaw. Gradually, his feelings for Sol deepen. Will Rene manage to find his lost zest for life? (Febiofest)
