Cambodian director Rithy Panh’s film presents a nearly two-hour monologue by a man responsible for the death of at least 12,000 people. Kaing Guek Eav, known as Duch, was a leading representative of the Khmer Rough and head of the S21 prison, about which Panh shot his previous film. Duch consists primarily of interviews with Kaing Guek Eav recorded after his arrest in 2009 and during his subsequent trial. (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
