The global banking crisis in 2008 led various communities to engage in mass demonstrations and to declare a diff erent hierarchy of values, alternative forms of living, and resistance to self-declared rulers. The Spanish 15M movement reached its climax on 15 May 2011 with a massive march on Madrid. The unemployed, people of all generations, students and workers – the “indignados” – began to spontaneously occupy squares and streets in order to express their deep opposition to the establishment and to the all-pervading ethos of consumerism. The film is a DIY manual for professional protestors and a chronicle of an idealistic revolt. (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
