Lucifer is the story of the original fallen angel. Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar has resigned his throne and retired to the City of Angels, where he owns an upscale piano bar called Lux. Lucifer is enjoying his retirement and indulging in a few of his favorite things—wine, women, song—when a beautiful pop star is brutally murdered outside of Lux.

For the first time in roughly 10 billion years, he feels something awaken deep within him. He's not sure whether it's his suppressed desire to punish the wicked or something deeper and more confusing—is he actually capable of feelings for a human being? The very thought disturbs him—as well as his best friend and confidante, Mazikeen (aka Maze), a fierce demon in the form of beautiful young woman.

The murder attracts the attention of LAPD homicide detective Chloe Dancer, who finds herself both repulsed and fascinated by Lucifer. As they work together to solve the pop star's murder, Lucifer is struck by Chloe's inherent goodness. Used to dealing with the absolute worst of humanity, he begins to wonder if there's hope yet.

At the same time, God's emissary, the angel Amenadiel, has been sent to Los Angeles to convince Lucifer to return to Hell. But with the City of Angels at his feet and a newfound purpose, Lucifer's having too much fun to go back now. (Warner Bros. Home Entertainment)

Season 3 (2017) (S03)

English I'm really angry that the creators decided to add elements of a South American soap opera into an otherwise fun series. When I heard that the third season would be the last one, I was disappointed. Later, I was glad that it would continue after all. But then I saw episodes 25 and 26 which made me think that a definitive ending would have been the best solution. ()

They're Back Again, Aren't They? (2017) (S03E01)

English So I have just finished watching the first episode of the third season, and I can confidently say that it is still as good, enjoyable, and easy entertainment that often makes me laugh. However, there were a few things that unpleasantly surprised me; I missed Mazikeen and I was not too pleased with the latest modification of Lucifer's abilities. ()

The One with the Baby Carrot (2017) (S03E02)

English In the second episode, practically the same applies as I wrote in the comment on the first part. My favorite demon is still lounging around somewhere else and Lucifer himself used to be more dazzling, but nevertheless I often laughed and had a decent time throughout. This series is an ideal entertainment for a relaxed afternoon. ()

Mr. and Mrs. Mazikeen Smith (2017) (S03E03)

English Finally! Mazekeen only appeared in the third episode, but fortunately, it turned out that she had the whole episode to herself, so I enjoyed it much more than the previous parts. The invasion of Canada made me laugh a lot, the story was funny throughout, and Mazekeen taking everything literally was just the icing on the cake (or the button on the stitching?). ()

What Would Lucifer Do? (2017) (S03E04)

English Hmmm, so I haven't been happy for a long time... The demon disappeared again, and it really spoiled my mood. The yoga instructor's introduction was actually good, but the further development of the story did not impress me much, and I was considering rating it with only three stars. However, I gave it a second thought and added one more. 4* ()

Welcome Back, Charlotte Richards (2017) (S03E05)

English No, no, without Mazikeen it won't be worth five bucks. The demon was missing, but Charlotte Richards returned somewhat upset and she wasn't too bad at all. The story was quite interesting, had a decent pace, and the advertisement for Heavenly Pudding simply had to please Lucifer. Once again, I had a decent laugh. ()

Vegas With Some Radish (2017) (S03E06)

English Vegas, baby! This was a very fun episode, but only because I don't take the series too seriously. Otherwise, I would greatly mind the logical inconsistencies, Lucifer and Ella's joyful running around the crime scene in Vegas, and other oddities. Here, it doesn't bother me, I am calmly enjoying various humorous situations and I'm glad to have met Candy again. ()

Off the Record (2017) (S03E07)

English So this time the creators really got me. I was expecting another portion of relaxed fun and I got a very well-crafted episode that even brought some decent tension and answered some long-standing questions. And last but not least, it was also funny. ()

Chloe Does Lucifer (2017) (S03E08)

English Compared to the previous two episodes, this part was significantly weaker, but it wasn't tragically bad either. It's true that Lucifer and Chloe didn't really impress me this time, but I enjoyed watching Charlotte pursue Ella. I also have to admit that I don't really feel like rating the show too low because I genuinely enjoy it. 4* ()

The Sinnerman (2017) (S03E09)

English But yeah, even if they stone me, Lucifer can just make me laugh, even if I'm not having the best day, so he deserves those five pieces. Digging in relationships wouldn't really entertain me on its own, but with Mazikeen, it all took on a new dimension. Plus, the "eye" bonus pleased me. ()

The Sin Bin (2017) (S03E10)

English I know, I'm boring, back to square one again... Well, yeah, but the tenth episode was funny again, even though I'm not a big fan of child actors, I enjoy the character Trixie, the dialogues were on point (especially between Lucifer and Mazikeen), the plot had a decent pace, and the ending truly pleased me. ()

City of Angels? (2018) (S03E11)

English The eleventh episode was completely outside of the current story, it should have a subtitle: "How it all actually began..." Although I wasn't over the moon, on the other hand, I was still entertained. Mazikeen got me again, such a variety of torture instruments and possibilities would surely excite anyone, right? ()

All About Her (2018) (S03E12)

English This time, relationship issues bothered me a little, there were too many of them, regardless of how romantic they were. Somehow, almost all the humor got lost in it all, even though it was clearly present. Moreover, the funeral for a dead surfer was a cheap game of emotions, the worst part was that I was a little bored for the first time in the third season. 4 stars. ()

Til Death Do Us Part (2018) (S03E13)

English After the previous silly episode, I regained my appetite. Killing Cain was really enjoyable, the romantic dinner with Mazikeen was perfect, but the undercover police operation managed to surpass it. The brisk pace returned again and the humor this time didn't take a backseat. ()

My Brother's Keeper (2018) (S03E14)

English I wasn't completely thrilled with the fourteenth episode, I enjoyed it quite decently, but something was bothering me about it. I don't really know what it was, maybe it was the dissecting of family relationships, or the extremely weird ending was to blame. Maybe both, but in any case, I didn't have a very good feeling about this episode. 4* ()

High School Poppycock (2018) (S03E15)

English I enjoyed the fifteenth episode a bit more than the previous one, even though the investigation of the dead writer's case didn't impress me too much. Funny moments were provided this time more by Mazikeen and her double date. The school reunion and the book concept didn't really appeal to me, but luckily, Lucifer provided funny comments. ()

Infernal Guinea Pig (2018) (S03E16)

English I had to rate this with five stars, I had an excellent time ever since the introductory presentation of Lucifer for Pierce. The misplaced soul situation only made it better, and Lauren Lapkus was a great choice, her facial expressions were really worth it. A relaxed and funny episode. ()

Let Pinhead Sing! (2018) (S03E17)

English Compared to the previous episode, this time it was a bit weaker, I enjoyed the investigation and the situation around the "amazing" singer more this time. The relationship matters, which were always quite entertaining in the series (mainly thanks to Mazikeen), didn't really grab me this time. Even my favorite demon disappointed me. 4* ()

The Last Heartbreak (2018) (S03E18)

English I have mixed feelings about the eighteenth episode. I enjoyed the investigation and Pierce's trip to the past, but the relationship matters are starting to annoy me. I was pleased that Charlotte finally received some information, and I secretly hope that this could boost the plot even more. 4* ()

Orange Is the New Maze (2018) (S03E19)

English The nineteenth episode seemed to me much better than the previous one, but I can't shake the feeling that the humor, which I was used to, is slowly disappearing from the series. The plot revolved around Mazikeen, who is my favorite character, but it just wasn't the same. I'm simply used to better bits. ()
