Picture Mommy Dead is a film that was unfairly forgotten, even though it's a bit too theatrical in places and the actors give their performances more than they need. But even that aspect is alright, and you'll enjoy a film where the uncomfortable heaviness I associate with good horror films falls on you from each scene. Picture Mommy Dead isn't a great gem, but it's a minor treasure that I'm glad I found.
