English I really loved this as a little kid, be it in the cinema or in its many reruns on TV. I recently watched it again and I have to say that this adventure film has been chewed up by the ravages of time, whether it's the poor direction or the rather dodgy choreography of the fight scenes. Another one of my childhood idols is lost. But no regrets. ()

English Romantic hodgepodge with beautifully black and white characters, beautiful women, brave pirates, and a naive plot that is ideally suited as an intermediate step between animated series and pop culture works like Angel. At the age of 10, it was my favorite movie, and I had the urge to give it full marks from nostalgia. Overall impression: 40%. ()

English When Kabir Bedi, eyes blazing on the darkened deck, challenges Satan, it almost sends a chill down the spine. The Black Corsair is a very decent adventure film, but if I had memories of it from my childhood, I would probably like it even more. Seeing Sollima's "western" direction in a film from a completely different setting was the most interesting of all. ()

English Action, adventure, pirates, beautiful women covered up like they're at the North Pole, add in some revenge, betrayal, and more action, and then there's Kabir Bedi with a proper harem, whose character is simply outdated. A pirate, but an honest one. This was so boring. If his character was grittier, it would have been much better and somewhat more innovative. ()
