What starts out as a fun road trip for the Toy Story gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel. After one of the toys goes missing, the others find themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate in this "Toy Story OF TERROR!" The introduction lures you with style and humor (Mr. Pricklepants!) which this short doesn’t then give, because the creators decided to cut the “horror" aspect short after about seven minutes and drop anchor back in the waters of Toy Story. In other words, an evil guy who sells stolen toys and a collective rescue mission and... But you know, you’ve seen something like this with Woody and Buzz a thousand times before.

A nice short full of references with the heroes of Toy Story. The villain is classic and predictable, but his omnivorous lizard buddy is awesome.
