The strange microcosm of the Meteor hotel, where the management is struggling to earn their fourth star regardless of the employees' interests, offers a perfect setting for the absurd humour of the Dejvické Divadlo theatre crew. For me personally, The Fourth Star is the best Czech/Czechoslovak comedy series. The quality writing and directing are supported by probably the best possible cast, there's sophisticated humor. I would have loved to highlight individual actors, but everybody at the Dejvice Theatre brought out the best in themselves, so my praise goes to everyone without exception. I had a great time.
