English A thoroughly enjoyable film based on the comic book "Superman: Brainiac." This is the second animated film where Supergirl gets a lot of space. We get her origin in Superman/Batman: Apocalypse and here it's all about a fast flawless ride. ()

English Animation at a decent level, but ultimately nothing special. A story about Superman and how he can save the world. Hm, I feel like even this is nothing new. What the film must be praised for is the fact that it is grittier than classic mainstream comics and there is blood spraying around. Of course, that doesn't save the script, which is very transparent and heavily relies on the assumption that you know the mythology and it will tell you something. I do know the mythology but it definitely didn't really touch me. ()
