I love Greek myths and this has nothing to do with them. It is historically a mix of Greek, Roman, and possibly a little bit of Egyptian history. As far as the story goes, it only takes the names of some characters from mythology, but their story is told completely differently. Primarily, it is simply just an action spectacle that impressed me in some places. However, overall it is simply terrible. Why couldn't it have been about some fictional hero? It would still be a bad movie, but at least it wouldn't ruin the character I love.
