Mexico in Flames can be attributed to a number of positives - a decent budget, excellent camera work, great exteriors, strong cast, and experienced direction. All elements of the film, including the music, are subordinated to the main goal - creating a magnificent historical fresco of the Mexican Revolution, admittedly somewhat (quite a lot) idealized. Overall impression 80%. I have no reservations about the formal aspect of the film, but the content would warrant a lengthy comment... ()
