THE VATICAN TAPES follows the ultimate battle between good and evil- God versus Satan. The Vatican Tapes doesn't bring any humor, which might be expected with Michael Peña's presence. There is simply nothing here that sets the film apart. The movie isn't badly directed, but it lacks anything a bit different, anything that would make you think it still makes sense to make exorcism movies. I haven't seen one I've appreciated in a long time. The Vatican Tapes is just another of many.
