This film, built upon a series of episodes, reveals little by little the terrifying secrets of an average middle-class Greek family. The youngest daughter committed suicide jumping into the void in her birthday, with a big smile on her face. Her mother, grandparents, and siblings forget about this suicide quickly and go back to their regular lives. This arouses the suspicion of the social services and an investigation is called. And as they visit frequently this household, horrendous secrets are soon unveiled. (El Riviera Maya Film Festival)

English This film’s distant feel and coldness are not very pleasing in the course of watching it, but in the climax, those attributes are brought into harmony with the dark theme of emotionally dead and spiritually dishevelled family relationships. Miss Violence is an unpleasant work that you won’t be able to get out of your head. The psycho expressions on the actors’ faces add more to it than the weak dialogue. ()

English Such a normal family. That 11 year old girl didn’t jump from a window during her birthday party just because, or after The Serbian Film and Dog Tooth, another proof that people aren’t quite alright in the Balkans. ()
