Zac Efron stars in a raunchy romantic comedy about three lads struggling with the idea of commitment. When Mikey (Michael B. Jordan) is dumped by his girlfriend, he's so distraught that he seeks solace in ice cream. His best mates Jason (Zac Efron) and Daniel (Miles Teller) can't bare to see him moping, so they make a pact. As an expression of solidarity, they'll stay single while all three of them have some no-ties fun. But fate has other plans. Jason has a whirlwind romance with Ellie (Imogen Poots). Rather than being with her no more than twice a week, as their rules stipulate, he's now seeing her twice a day. But Daniel can hardly complain. He's just fallen for the sparky Chelsea (Mackenzie Davis). (official distributor synopsis)

English The trio in this movie felt a little douchey; that is until I got used to them. I especially had issues with Miles Teller and some of his opinions. But then it all clicked for him and that made me happy. However, when it comes to girls in this movie, I thought that I had to wait and see how it all turns out. Then there was an array of decent one-liners and a couple of good scenes, which convinced me that this comedy is really good, but at the same time, it wasn’t anything ground-breaking. It was just life… ()

English I can't help it, but I quite enjoy Zac Efron. In the last movies I've seen him in, which were of a comedic nature, his acting just works for me. He doesn't bother me, he's funny, and he radiates positive energy that resonates with me a lot. Even though the movie takes a twist at the end, I enjoyed the journey that led to it. ()
