She likes to experiment with vegetables while masturbating and thinks that body hygiene is greatly overrated. She shocks those around her by speaking her mind in a most unladylike manner on topics that many people would not even dare to think of: meet Helen Memel! Helen (CARLA JURI) is a handful for her divorced parents (MERET BECKER and AXEL MILBERG) - yet all she longs for is to see her family reunited. She only feels truly at home with her friend and soul mate Corinna (MARLEN KRUSE), who is her partner in crime as she breaks one social taboo after the other. One day Helen has an intimate shaving accident and ends up in hospital. It is not only the head doctor, Prof Notz (EDGAR SELGE), who considers her an unusual case: she makes waves throughout the hospital with her fierce wit and candid manner. Helen sees a chance to reconcile her parents at her sickbed and finds an ally in her male nurse, Robin (CHRISTOPH LETKOWSKI), who well and truly sweeps her off her feet... English Explicitness and perversions don't matter, but an attempt at a socially moralizing idyll does. It's a shame that the triggering mechanism for most teenage flings is something as present and banal as parental divorce. ()

English Maybe it's a revolutionary teenage comedy that ignores the rules of the genre and serves the viewer everything and tells it how it is. Maybe it's a revolutionary film about problematic adolescence in a dysfunctional family. In any case, these two genres do not work in combination. I haven't been so torn about a movie in a long time, because on the one hand it's an excellently acted and excellently filmed comedy, during which I laughed and actively said WTF in many places, but I also shook my head in many places and didn't understand what was happening and why. On the other hand, I've never seen a movie in which four guys masturbate over a pizza, squirt sperm in slow motion, during which a waltz on the beautiful blue Danube river was playing. ()

English An interesting film about how it is also possible to perceive one's sexuality and body. It's a viewpoint that's very open, very honest, but at the same time, it tries to be entertaining. I'm sure some people might feel queasy about some of the things the protagonist does here, but why not, if that's how she wants to explore herself? ()
