A scientific research team investigates and documents the supernatural phenomena surrounding the disappearance of eight year old Cody, who vanished in to thin air right before his parents eyes on their Utah ranch. When the group arrive almost a year later, the inexplainable incidents begin to escalate. From otherworldly lights, shadowy figures and even cattle mutilation, the team must decide how far they should go to unlock the mysteries of Skinwalker Ranch and whether the answers are worth risking their lives for. The film is incredibly gripping, it's a nail-biter, it holds onto you so that you don't leave your seat, and so despite the pseudo-documentary hints at the beginning, we watch dumb scenes with individual characters who are introduced to us as not very intelligent people. Every now and then the picture cuts out, sometimes we can't see exactly what's happening. But at least the ending provides some shots that we definitely don't see in every found footage. It's not a miracle, but the film "Skinwalker Ranch" definitely earned its average rating.
