English I just had to see this, although I had been warned. I had read so many times that "compared to Pupa, so-and-so is absolute genius" that I could not take it anymore, and so, prepared for the worst, I sat down to watch it. I found that any preparation was entirely inadequate because what I saw was very bad for your mental health. The story is completely insane, and the only words I can use to sum it all up are "completely demented and twisted." Sure, sometimes, you can understand that there are people who love to watch such madness, and so I could maybe continue to ignore this spectacular abomination. However, the episode devoted to the sister "happily eating" onii-chan was deeply disturbing. When I got to the stage of constantly repeatedly saying "onii-chan, onii-chan..." well, it almost made me laugh. I then realized I was going crazy. Still, I did not give up and watched it to the end and found out that the show’s narrative is not only insane, it is also completely disjointed and jumps wherever it wants without explaining the context to the viewer. ---SPOILER ALERT--- So I could not understand why the researcher suddenly got impregnated and where she got the other monster from. I sat in utter amazement, speechless at the last episode, which was suddenly insanely cheerful and upbeat. This decisive change of atmosphere was like the last straw. ---END OF SPOILERS--- This show was horrific and, in my view, also a conscious attempt at self-harm, which the anime's creators supported with a psychedelic opening. If I add to that the sloppy animation, the moronic censorship, so that I could not see the proper visual sensations for the psychic onslaught making my imagination work overtime, it gave me chills and it made me FEEL SICK. However, I went even further, distraught at what I saw; I figured that, after all, the manga it was based on could have never been this demented, so I found it and started reading that. It helped; the manga is a sub-average work. However, it explains a lot; this anime series significantly deviates from the original manga. It suddenly became crystal clear that the anime's creators chose only the craziest passages and stretched them out and many times completely out of context, plus they also made up and edited quite a bit in places. There is also a weak premise that is screwed up and unwieldy, so, logically, we would get nothing but a BOO!, and I would even go as far as to say "dangerous garbage”. ()
