This docusoap looks at a year in the life of guide dog Mesie from his birth and training until the time when he is handed over to his new master. At the same time, it tells the story of his future owner, 22-year-old Klára, a recently blind young woman from Ostrava. Although she wants a guide dog, because of the recent nature of her handicap she must first learn the basics of getting around on her own and managing everyday tasks before she can function with a dog at home.
How will Klára's encounter with her longed-for dog turn out? And will Mesie's trainers succeed in training him so that he will get along with his new owner? (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
