Tamako in Moratorium

You finish college, you don't know what to do with your life. So you move in with your dad and hope the change will just sort of happen. That what you could be doing will present itself to you. Plus, your dad is making you suffer. At first you don't know, you're floundering, then suddenly you get up and start doing a little something. You might even think of something to do, but who knows. Your father is still suffering from your laxity and you end up quite satisfied, though actually dissatisfied. A film about wallowing in ignorance and laziness. And something like this just doesn't have a twist, just a promise. The film made sense to me, but it didn't impress me all that much. If you're a fan of Atsuko, you'll enjoy her a lot in this. It kind of felt like Atsuko was hungry, so she decided to make this movie because it fed her pretty well. (06/24/2017)
