Jenny Farrell has led an openly gay life with everyone except her family. She has kept it a secret out of compassion for her parents, knowing they are happiest living in a small, safe and familiar world. Realizing she is missing out on having a full life, Jenny decides to marry Kitty, a woman they thought was her roommate. Her parents are shocked to find out how little they know their daughter and fear becoming the object of gossip in their small community. Misunderstanding leads to misunderstanding, and long-standing grudges are revealed. (Showtime)

I haven't seen such an annoying and stupid movie for a long time. Who will benefit from this? Is it supposed to be a romance? Is it supposed to be a drama? So why is it categorized as a comedy? There really isn't a single joke here, but it doesn't work as a drama either, incredibly boring and predictable film. Katherine Heigl aspires to be one of the actresses I don't want to see.
