Ross Tanner is a hotshot police detective who lives for his work, but is desperately trying to conceal a terrifying secret: he's losing his vision. When D.I. Catherine Tully, an ambitious young inspector, is assigned to assist him with the investigation of the gruesome and apparently motiveless murder of a nineteen-year-old college student, the two enter into an uneasy alliance. She will be his eyes, and he a rung in her climb to success. As Tanner's vision fades, he learns that police work relies on insight far more than eyesight--but can the two detectives solve the case before more blood is spilt? (official distributor synopsis)
