Das Mädchen mit den Schwefelhölzern

A nice fairytale that makes a fine thing to watch with your feet up on a Sunday morning. I enjoyed it, I liked the setting, and the actors were fine. It’s nothing very challenging, just a simple classic for kids and older. The only thing that bothered me about it a little was the sickly-sweet ending; I had expected a slightly sadder/more tragic ending, but I do understand that it’s meant mainly for kids and so it has to end sort of happily.
