An animated adaptation of Ovid's Metamorphoses consists of three parts each made by a different director. The film builds on mythology. Hunter Actaeon accidentally stumbles across the Goddess Artemis having a bath. Artemis is outraged by the insult and turns the hunter into a stag so he cannot tell anyone. But that is not the end of his misfortune. The hunter becomes the hunted as his own dogs cannot recognise their master and chase him down and tear him into pieces. (Anifilm)
