Ava's Possessions

A pleasant and original take on the topic of possession, which doesn’t end with the exorcism, but actually starts there. It’s a pity that the script doesn’t develop somewhat more interesting things, because objectively, it’s not scary, or tense, or even funny. But I still had quite some fun, maybe thanks to the nice visuals. It has style, which counts. (03/05/2016)

The film definitely has an original approach, which can't be said very often about movies focused on exorcism. Usually, they follow the "Devil Expeller" template. But here, the creators attempted some invention and succeeded, at least in the beginning. Unfortunately, the film does not have such a good drive, it is not as successful as the introduction promised. However, it still succeeds in playing with the audience quite well. (04/27/2016)
