Plots(1)

DreamWorks Animation and the director of Madagascar invite you to meet a most unusual baby. He wears a suit, speaks with the voice and wit of Alec Baldwin, and stars in the animated comedy, DreamWorks' The Boss Baby. The Boss Baby is a hilariously universal story about how a new baby's arrival impacts a family, told from the point of view of a delightfully unreliable narrator, a wildly imaginative 7 year old named Tim. English Politically incorrect animated agitprop for small children (i.e. future Hitlers and Trumps) and disparaging puppies. PUPPIES! ()

English A nice fairy tale for dog haters and baby lovers. It goes by quickly and the action scenes are almost Bay-like. I'm a first child myself and I remember well the pressure of the opening. ()

English Despite the slight infantilism of the premise and the unattractiveness of the trailers, they managed to create a very pleasant and entertaining film that will definitely find its fans among children and adults with the wave of film references and the undisguised parody of Hollywood storytelling techniques. English Baby Boss may look at first glance like a film primarily intended for a child audience, but thanks to its mature script (and a wry Alec Baldwin) it has the potential to appeal to mature audiences as well. Like The Secret Life of Pets, a year earlier, this film uncovers secrets of a world - of children - whose nooks and crannies we had no idea about. I enjoyed the scenes with the toddlers and their intrigues the most, while the scenes with Tim were perhaps a little too sappy and childish in places. The film would also have benefited from better animation. Better three stars! ()

English It's not a particularly great animated film, and it doesn't have a particularly original story, but Alec Baldwin, even if only with his voice, was great in the lead role, and his mini-boss character is just fantastic. The rest of it is pretty ordinary, but Alec pulls it off brilliantly thanks to his sense of humor and timing. Yeah, the humor is good here. ()
