After their victory over the Snow Queen, the trolls have developed a taste for freedom. Having played a major role in the triumph, the troll Orm has become a hero to all. This is not enough for him, however. Comically exaggerating his exploits and achievements, he creates spins a web of lies, claiming that he personally defeated the Snow Queen, and that he is destined to marry the princess and inherit great power and riches... Sequel, which could easily pass as a standalone film, because although there are some characters from the previous installment, the continuity is quite loose. The animation is still quite good, but I simply find the story uninteresting. It's so predictable and it bores me. Moreover, the main hero seems annoying to me here.

This installment is less interesting and well-executed than the first one when it comes to the plot. The main idea was quite simple, the storyline and its denouement quite predictable. I found the first installment quite interesting, whereas I was quite bored sometimes when watching this sequel. Plus, the fact that the main protagonist was supposed to be Orm, whom I enjoyed in the first installment, did not help. In my opinion, the elf could not keep it very interesting or entertaining by himself. The animation was about the same standard as the first installment; I liked the soundtrack a bit more. It may not be bad for kids; however, as an adult I found it to be just a weaker average of 4.5/10.
