Miron's exploration of the experience of watching a film as a series of stimuli within the brain is a commentary on our perception of light and the creation of the sense of motion. The film is a collage of strange images (both concrete and abstract) with multiple meanings, combined in a seemingly absurd manner with short humorous sketches and a critical viewpoint.
