After witnessing the crimes her father committed against an indigenous tribe, a noble Spanish woman is determined to testify against him and bring him to justice. To help her reach the trial unharmed, a priest hires an indigenous man to help him safely transport her to the trial. As the indigenous man and the noble woman rely on one another during their frantic journey, the boundaries of their cultures dissolve, and an intimate bond forms between them. (Austin Film Festival)
