Jack Carter, a man constantly living in a state of regret, takes his technology-obsessed family, including their lovable dog Buster, on a Christmas vacation to the mountains in the hopes of reconnecting with them. While on vacation, Jack and his family run into an estranged, uber-competitive friend of Jack's, who now live the life of luxury that Jack pines for. Another Christmas movie. It's starting to be a bit too much, but a person can't take a break when there's so much coming at them. And I don't even want to. I'm curious if someone will come up with something really original. This isn't really that original, but it at least has that nice Christmas and family atmosphere that I definitely appreciate. But that's kind of standard.
