Marco Polo (2014)

English Solid series, I'm surprised at the relatively low ratings. For fans of Asia and martial arts, I definitely recommend Marco Polo. I was interested in all the history surrounding Genghis Khan and the times, and Marco Polo himself is a very interesting character, well respected in history and good to know anything about. I like his intelligence and fairness. The blind monk, who especially took care of the amazing battle sequences, and Kublai Khan, who was rightly stern and uncompromising, were also amazing. The certain amount of sex and violence was good, for which I give a cautious thumbs up. The budget is high, so visually the series is okay, the only downside for me were the occasional weaker passages, otherwise satisfaction. The first season was a sweet 80%, let's see how the second one does. ()
