English It is a pity that Václav Lohniský did not stand behind the camera more often. Not that I didn't like seeing him in front of it, but Virginity and Prison shows that he didn't do badly in the director's chair. The story is very simple, but the script is all the more imaginative, full of all sorts of characters, funny lines and a few jabs at the mood of the time. Vladimír Menšík is once again excellent, but I admired the charming Lucie Žulová, who was not lost next to him in the slightest and portrayed the challenging teenage girl at 100%. Other roles worth mentioning include Josef Hlinomaz's excellent policeman or the attorneys Karel Augusta and Otakar Brousek. The newer (very similar in mood) Rapotínská tragédie is a bit better, but this film fulfilled the main goal - it entertained me, which I really didn't expect at the moment (stupid, bad and ugly depression), although I did secretly hope for it.
