This DVD, published to mark the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Prague Symphony Orchestra, presents a selection of songs from twenty-five films, recorded between 1934–1942 in collaboration with the Prague Symphony Orchestra FOK. The abbreviation FOK indicates the orchestra's former focus (Film – Opera – Koncert). For the DVD we have chosen a few film extracts documenting some of the orchestra's members, as well as clips from films for which the orchestra recorded the scores. It's hard to believe, but altogether there were almost one hundred such films! (official distributor synopsis)
