Za lepších okolností (S01E01)

Not great. Of the actors and "actors", only the spirited Soňa Norisová made an effort, I was not impressed at all with the direction (even the shots of the Šumava panoramas are too much if there are too many and they are desperately static), and what to think, for example, of the character of a policeman who, according to the script, is a Šumava native and yet is played by a man with a very strong Slovak accent? I'm definitely not going to watch this show, so I'm only reviewing its lackluster pilot episode. For those who liked it, but without any gloating, I recommend Soukup's older Drsná Planina - with border guards instead of policemen. (02/28/2015)
