The creators try to conduct some scenes in a similar spirit as Scorsese in Wolf of Wall Street, but they lack the directorial skill and sense of timing and improvisation of the master. There's a decent sparkle between the main actors, but otherwise it's basically a plodding 60 minutes of unremarkable routine
