At first glance, Ávila's life is hardly any different from that of any other citizen in a big city; however, creating this façade of normality has not been easy, and preserving it is going to be even harder. Ávila is about to move up in the organization, becoming Boss of the Company. The new position will bring problems and responsibilities, and the whole house of cards will come tumbling down; as the past comes back to collect its due, and his own life, that of his wife, María, and his son Emiliano become a nightmare from which there will be no waking.
