20 years ago the most famous gangland murders in British history started a war amongst the criminal clans of Essex. With the reverberations of that infamous crime still being felt some two decades later, warring firms vie for control of the lucrative drug trade. When his best friend is murdered at the hands of a rival firm, Danny decides to turn his back on a life of crime rather than seek retribution. Weak movie about revenge. It's nice that they're trying to build on something here, but even the previous movies weren't worth much, so this one doesn't improve their reputation much either. Moreover, it's too evident how amateurish this is and how it lacks something in all aspects from the script, acting, to the direction, which doesn't let any scene shine. Well, maybe that one scene that turns a person into a vengeance-seeking monster.
