The fifth season left me quite disappointed, so I approached the sixth season with a lot of apprehension. Imagine my delight when I found out that my worries were completely unnecessary. The show returned to the good old Expanse that I loved. It felt like a nice farewell to one of the few really good sci-fi shows out there. If only the protomolecule, which was the original core of the story, hadn't almost completely disappeared from the script, it would have earned five stars from me. / Lesson learned: Overcapacity is one of the biggest problems of the human species.

Incomplete. They simply repeated most of the interesting stuff from the last season, finishing up the political storyline and having a lot, a real lot of warring. Which is fine and done with quality, but we were mainly interested in getting to the bottom of some fundamental mysteries. The ones from last season. Why does the Ring gate break ships down into atoms? And a new one, how come dogs can revive dead birds?
