Nanni Moretti's spontaneous film diary shows a deeply personal yet nonchalant confession about his fight with the disease. The doctors tell Moretti that he suffers from malignant cancer, which is eventually proven wrong. The semi-documentary film is divided into three acts. The first two chapters show the filmmaker's travels, his talks with the people he meets, and discusses various mundane things. The third part focuses on the director's disease, and mainly depicts the numerous examinations and therapeutic methods that he had gone through. (Febiofest)

I don't really like similar movies because I usually feel like the creators don't have much to say. But in this case, I liked the concept. Overall, it was straightforward yet light-hearted. Nanni doesn't rush you, but goes at the pace of normal life while managing to convey some harsh truths. Pleasant to watch.
