A 12-year-old Ville receives a letter from Sirkka, the most beautiful girl in the school. Sirkka wants to meet Ville at the deserted outdoor swimming pool and kiss him. A sensitive and beautiful story about a first kiss. Sirkka is a fiction film but is based on the director's memories of first love. The name Sirkka has a double meaning in the Finnish language: it is a girl's name and also a word for a grasshopper. (official distributor synopsis)
