She'll Be Wearing Pink Pyjamas

A group of eight otherwise ordinary women gather at an outward-bound course in the Lake District, North West England. They introduce themselves around a table and discuss hopes, aspirations and goals they wish to achieve during their week together. Among the group there is an unmarried principal, a mother-and-daughter combo, a number of housewives and lastly Fran (Julie Walters, Educating Rita). A twenty-something free-spirit, Fran likes a good laugh, an easy man and not much in the way of commitment. During their character building activities together the women bond and share their feelings and as they leap off bridges, climb mountains and camp in the rugged wilderness they learn much about each other, and in the course of events, themselves.
