On the last day of the year, mild-mannered high school English teacher Andy Campbell (Day) is trying his best to keep it together amidst senior pranks, a dysfunctional administration and budget cuts that put jobs on the line. But things go from bad to worse when he accidentally crosses his much tougher and deeply feared colleague, Ron Strickland (Ice Cube), who challenges Campbell to an old-fashioned throw down after school. A really cool American comedy with lots of profanity. And I liked that the most. The movie is very sincere and enjoyable and that is thanks to its humor. What else do you want from an American comedy?

Another American comedy that tries to rely on characters and absurdities. Absurdities are fine, but the film takes itself too seriously for them to work there. The characters are boring, mostly because the title characters are so transparent at first glance that you get bored just looking at them. No, it's just not funny at all.
